Join us for a very special evening featuring winemaker, Andrew Jones, of Field Recordings and The Fableist out of Paso Robles, CA, along with cheesemongers, Kerry and Mike Jerred, who run a cheese appreciation and education business out of Elk River, MN. We will be sampling a variety of Andrew’s wines and pairing them very specifically with a range of cheeses brought by Kerry and Mike.

Andrew Jones began his wine career as a vine nursery fieldman. He soon developed an extensive knowledge of Central Coast vineyards, as well as a unique understanding of their soils and microclimates and which grape varietals might perform best for each. As the Head Winemaker and driving force between Field Recordings & the Fableist his agenda is much less about producing commercially successful wines but producing, instead, artisanal wines that are unique and soulful.

Kerry Jerred is a Certified Cheese Professional (CCP) interested in the production methods, history, serving, and enjoyment of fine artisanal cheeses. Mike Jerred is a Global Dairy Technology Manager for Cargil Animal Nutrition, where he has consulted on dairy operations in 25+ countries. Both natives of Wisconsin and graduates of UW-Madison, this husband-and-wife team shows, if nothing else, passion for cheeses and dairy education. Eschewing larger commercial cheeses, they make a point of supporting the smaller producer of artisanal cheeses that are—you got it—unique and soulful
